Services

At Zohar Health, we take a holistic, client-centered approach to treating psychiatric and mental health conditions. Our focus is on helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change in their lives by addressing both mind and body.

We integrate evidence-based care—including pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy—with supportive practices such as mindfulness, meditation, exercise, and nutrition. All medications are prescribed in accordance with FDA guidelines, and we participate in prescription monitoring programs in Maryland and Washington, DC to ensure safe and responsible care.

For clients who may benefit from additional or specialized support, we offer services such as esketamine treatment for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), Alpha-Stim therapy to help reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing to personalize medication plans.

Our therapeutic approach includes a range of modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Telepsychiatry is an effective and convenient option for clients with mild to moderate mental health needs. While in-person care is often ideal, virtual sessions offer a flexible alternative that fits today’s pace of life—providing access to care from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Through secure technology, we are able to connect with clients in real time, wherever they are.

Please note that telepsychiatry is not appropriate for urgent or emergency situations, or for individuals in need of immediate medical, legal, or social support. In those cases, we encourage you to seek appropriate emergency services.

We also offer in-person appointments at our offices in Maryland and Washington, DC, and may recommend periodic in-office visits as part of your care.
